The photoshoot took place in an abandoned “moroccan themed” location at a park near Bordeaux, France. It was aimed to pay homage to southern moroccan culture, something that always inspired me growing up as a french-moroccan woman. For me, the fact that the place was old, abandoned and deteriorating really reflected how we can sometimes forget our roots and let our ancestors culture die with the blink of an eye. It’s crucial to let it live through images, music and stories.
